Young Steinway Artist Sînziana Mircea had her debut at the Romanian Athenaeum, the main venue in her country, at the age of 7, followed by numerous appearances in Europe. She made her American debut at the age of 11 and began touring at the age of 14. A major milestone in Sînziana Mircea’s career was her Carnegie Hall Debut Recital, which took place with a full house in November 2016, receiving standing ovations from the audience at the end. 

In the same year, she won the Miami International Piano Festival Academy Prize and released her Debut CD ‘’Nihil Sine Deo’’ (Editura Casa Radio), which won third prize in the annual national competition for the Best Classical Music CD in Romania, organised by Radio Romania Muzical. Her second CD has been released by Italian label Sheva Collection in 2017. "Unending Love - A Sound Poem" is distributed worldwide by NAXOS Direct and it includes works by Tchaikovsky-Pletnev, Liszt, Enescu, Albeniz, Bach-Kempff, Gluck-Sgambati.


Sînziana performed at prestigious venues including Tokyo Metropolitan Theater (Japan), St Martin-in-the-Fields London, and Cheltenham Town Hall (UK), PepsiCo Recital Hall – Fort Worth, Texas (USA), Bucharest Philharmonic, and the National Radio Hall (Romania), Nanjing Cultural Arts Center, and Harbin Concert Hall (China). Her performances have been enthusiastically received by both the public and critics.  

Recordings of her concerts have been broadcast by BBC Radio 3, Radio Romania Musical and on major radio channels for classical music throughout Europe (Sweden, Norway, Poland).

Besides her solo and concerto appearances, Sînziana Mircea performs extensively with the most acclaimed Romanian violinist, Alexandru Tomescu.  

Sînziana Mircea obtained her Bachelor’s Degree with maximum qualifications from Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Koln (Germany). She followed this by taking her Master’s Degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London (UK), with Prof. Ronan O’Hora, with a generous scholarship provided by Steinway & Sons UK. She also studied at Accademia Pianistica Imola (Italy) with Prof. Boris Petrushansky. Sînziana became the first Romanian pianist to be granted a scholarship from the Van Cliburn Foundation and TCU School of Music at PianoTexas Festival & Academy in 2014. Currently, Sînziana is pursuing the Master in Arts Management and Administration at the Bocconi Business School in Milano (Italy).
